Purple Friday - Clubs Say No to Domestic Violence
NRL Vegas Watch Party

Purple Friday – Clubs Say No to Domestic Violence is a state-wide activation taking place on Friday, 8 May to demonstrate our industry’s commitment to creating safer communities and workplaces. The date is significant, with May being Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

More than 20 clubs across NSW already host Purple Friday every week, with staff wearing purple shirts to raise awareness of domestic violence and to promote respectful relationships. Friday, 8 May is an opportunity for all registered clubs to get involved and come together to highlight the role that our industry plays in the prevention of domestic violence by turning their clubs purple — think staff wearing purple shirts, hats, badges or pins; purple decorations; digital signage; social media tiles and more!
